📈 Mission

Quality collaboration, both formal and informal, is a hallmark of top colleges. Whether for courses, placements, competitions, or hobbies, and whether among batch-mates, students and alums, or freshers and seniors—the colleges that facilitate it excel while others struggle. Venny not only closes this gap for the latter but also takes collaboration to new heights for the former.

Our mission is to use tech to elevate every aspect of every college, from academics to extracurriculars to networking, especially in the developing world (which is why we charge nothing).

🤝 Values

Connect. Impact. Accelerate. This is what Venny empowers its customers to achieve: to form meaningful connections, create meaningful impact, and accelerate their collaborative efforts!

Moreover, we are strongly driven by the same values–

Connect. We believe in the transformative power of authentic connections, rooted in deep empathy, with everyone—customers, employees, investors, stakeholders, and society. We strive to understand their perspectives and recognize that every challenge they face is tied to their unique human experiences.

Impact. Mere feelings of connection or words of empathy are never enough. For us, they are a call to action. We don't just stand by; we solve problems through decisive and purposeful actions guided by a commitment to creating tangible, lasting impact.

Accelerate. Our commitment to swift decisions, efficient execution, and agile adaptation ensures we stay one step ahead, adapt to ever-evolving landscapes, and deliver results when they matter most. Moving fast, after all, is crucial for startups.

I enjoy wearing multiple hats here, keeping the founder from doing all the work himself. I truly believe in our mission and future—maybe even more than the founder does (although he and I can argue about that)!

When I'm not at work, you'll find me buried in fiction books or looking at pet videos. It'll take me just a few more lifetimes to get through my reading list, so I take it very seriously.

Before joining Venny, I worked at BCG, Deloitte, and EY, and completed my graduation at Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi.

As the founder, my days are filled with everything from research, engineering and strategic planning, to tackling printer jams and coffee spills—and I wouldn't have it any other way!

When I'm not working on Venny (which is rare!), you'll find me rescuing, vaccinating, feeding, and fostering street animals (from dogs, cats, and cows to rats and even an odd baby eagle). After all, volunteering for them inspired the idea behind Venny. I'm also a nerd for pretty much any topic! Building things and solving problems is my life.

Before Venny, I explored a few other startup ideas that eventually led me to it. Before that, I worked as a Software Engineer at Amazon, after completing my B.Tech. at IIT Bombay.
